Looking for clues!

This we we have been learning to use strategies to find the meaning of words we are not sure of. Here is a video which is an awesome example of how Kalim used on of these strategies.

  1. Kalim thanks for sharing your reading strategy with us. I am going to use this net time when I come across a word I don't understand. It sounds like you are reading an interesting story about an isolated town. What else do you think could make a town isolated?

  2. Hi Kalim. This is Miss Waho from Gilberthorpe School. This is a good strategy for reading. I think the kids at my school will watch this to help them remember their strategies. What other strategies do you use?

    1. Sometimes with some words I spilt them into two words. Then I find out what the two words mean and put them together.

  4. Tena koe Kalim I,m Lara from Grey Main School. I really like the video. Maybe next time you could tell me I little bit more about what isolated met plus find out what a word met is a good reading strategie what does isolated mean?
