London Part 2

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Well today I am off to see the All Blacks play Argentina.  Here are some pictures of what I have been up to the last few days.
This was the view from my seat Fiji vs Eng.  it was really high.  I was even higher than the top of the goal posts.
I went to the Tower of London and saw the Crown Jewels. We weren't allowed to take photos of them.  Didn't see Gangsta Granny, but check out the safe that keeps them safe.

This is at the back of Buckingham palace, I did a tour of inside it. I didn't see the queen but it was very flash!

This was the opening ceremony of the World Cup.
If you ask Miss Weaver nicely I have pup loaded some videos that she might put on the blog which shows what the atmosphere was like at the game and also a furry little friend I met.

I'm here!

Hello Ako Ngatahi.  Well after 36 hours I finally made it to London.  I was very tired because I couldn't go to sleep on the plane.
After a really good sleep I did some sightseeing.
Can you name some of these?

Well I hope you are being awesome and amazing for Miss Weaver and Mrs Staples.

Check out this amazing piece of writing by Addyson!

I begin to shake like thunder. I hear a voice inside my head saying, “you can do it!” in an encouraging way. My friends and family are staring at me. Then I hear, “on your marks, get set, go!” in a loud voice. I start to sprint over the starting line. I can feel my knees shaking and my legs feel numb. I feel like I am going to fall. My friends and family are cheering. I can’t take it any more. It’s the hardest thing I have ever done. I can feel the sweat running down my face. I do not  know what to do. I feel like I may give up but instead I keep sprinting and sprinting. I feel like tipping a bucket of cold water over myself. It is like a nightmare but instead of night it’s day. Then I see the finish line, I start to go faster. I feel like I have had a brick dropped on my feet. I keep puffing and puffing like I am the wolf blowing the three pig’s house down. When I cross the finish line I fall to the ground like rain pouring down. My throat feels rusty so I get a big drink of cold water. I feel like a hot mess.

Woof, woof, here comes Indy!

Today Indy and her owner came to Hornby Primary to teach us about dog safety and the role of the Animal Control section of the Christchurch City Council. We learnt that if we see a dog on its own we need to leave it alone. We learnt how to behaviour around a dog we weren't sure of and ways to protect ourselves if need be. Before patting a dog you should ask the owners permission and wait for them to reply. We also learnt the best place to pat a dog is on it's chest with a gentle fist.
